Sound Engineers need to be replaced!
Great performances, with the Hybrid Minds and Four Tops. Each group performed for over an hour, showcasing loved dance moves and taking us on a wonderful walk down memory lane. As good as the originals they were.
Five stars for the Temps and Tops and their bands, if only they had a new sound group/engineer. Unfortunately, the sound engineers received a zero-star rating from me.
The sound engineers were the reason for my lowered rating to four stars. The volume was too loud, drowning out the vocals with distorted sound. When group members talked to the audience, we couldn't understand them.
Due to the loud volume, we had to seek refuge in the lobby for a break. Many others were also complaining about the excessive volume. Despite our request to lower the volume, the soundboard operator didn't follow through.
We were informed that no sound check was done earlier, a big mistake that led to the ruined experience for many attendees. Disappointed, we left before the concert ended, hoping to catch a better performance another day. It would have been wonderful to hear the vocals clearly and enjoy the singers' commentary at a reasonable level.
